Patinated (brushed) finish: Wire  brushes are used to smooth out the surface of the Stone.  During this process the softer parts are especailly  worn while the veinings are carved out and the harder parts remain. With patination the surface takes  on an antique, worn down with age appearance.

Patinated tiles come in two different edge finishes:
chiselled edges: all edges are randomly broken by machine to give an antique look
giava (softened) edges: this finish is unique to our company and it is for thoses who prefer a softened edge look (as if tumbled)
